Adaco Eclipse & HSG
Many of the day to day services that HSG provides are supported by a software system called Eclipse. HSG licenses Eclipse from Adaco Services, Inc. of Williamsville, NY. For over ten years, Eclipse and its predecessors have provided HSG with accurate and reliable tracking of vendor quotations and order processing for our members.
Over the last 24 months Adaco has made and implemented a number of key strategic and development initiatives. Briefly, they chose to re-write the entire Eclipse application (20 man years of effort) using object oriented thin client development. Eclipse now offers many new capabilities allowing HSG to leverage the power of the Internet and provide substantially increased functionality, along with exceptional cost and operational efficiencies, to our members.
Some of the key features that you can take advantage of today:
1. Create and customize order forms in your categories and sequence; continually updated.
2. Simplified order placement; by fax or over the internet right on your PC.
3. Print your own updated order guides.
4. Inventory-HSG’s system will calculate and update your inventory costs for you; print a form, enter your on hand quantities and print the report.
5. Price history and usage reports.
6. Track costs by categories.
7. Can be configured by calendar month or by your accounting periods.
8. Ability to track items that you purchase outside HSG; such as Fish, Produce or Liquor items.
9. Multi-level access permissions maintain confidentiality.
